Abomination: City of Ice 30 Blood on the Water
Dusk had come to the Sea of Stones as the mighty man-of-war cut swiftly through the water, a pod of dolphins off the port side easily keeping pace with the ship. The pride of the Order of the Eternal Flame, the Griffin’s Mane was making for the port of Danton. A steady wind filled her sails and snapped her rigging while small flock of sea birds wheeled about her mast. Two more ships, the Southern Prince and the Brandished Sword, followed closely behind. Spread out in formation behind them was a small armada of warships, all in full sail. In all, it would have been an inspiring sight if it wasn’t for the purpose for which these

Take a leap of faith sometimes there's more than what meets the eye...look deeper Believe in others, if you can't believe in your Own self at this time Trust that you will be meeting with your destiny; And that you belong There is a place for Everyone, including you. You have a purpose Fulfilling yourself starts with finding your true self and cherishing it Defend your beliefs, if you think they are worth it, but stay kind and real Sometimes you will find that nothing lasts forever. So learn to let go. Sometimes seeing it is simply not the same as feeling it is true Sometimes the truth is Too obscured, to be seen, so take a leap of faith! 28.02.2024

A Literary Weeping Willow
I am dealing with a weeping willow of story concepts and plots that hang down like threads— each one with another twist outcome and development to offer which could lead onto other possibilities opportunities and challenges Searching for the characters amid the branches I ask them, “Who do you want to become?” to which they will reply, “Our own selves” yet over time the whole picture has become clearer So lately I have started to weave together the threads into long braids and into various arrangements as the characters watch and the story takes shape until at last I can stand

Erik and Marko went to work pulling Septina up, mindful of her injured hand, while Shelagh kept a careful watch with her crossbow just in case more bandits were in the area. The swarm of wasp did not disperse after the battle, but instead congregated on the large boulder, as if they were waiting for Glenna to dismiss them. They owed their lives to these insects. Smiling to herself, Shelagh wondered how Erik was going to work that into his epic tale. When it was Oktha’s turn, the half-ogre had a difficult time getting out of the hole, and Shelagh feared he would get stuck. He was finally able to pull himself up by using the log for leverage. To prevent any wandering travelers from falling to their deaths, they surrounded the sinkhole with rocks and logs, and Erik carved a glyph into the surrounding trees, warning anyone familiar with woodcraft of danger in the vicinity. “The gnome mentioned something about having captured peasants,” Shelagh said. “If they’re somewhere nearby

“Is that sunlight?” Glenna perked up suddenly. Looking up and slightly to the left, Shelagh could see what the fairy was talking about. Three beams of natural-looking light cut through the darkness of the crevice. Following the light beams to the point of origin, she saw a bright circle of light nearly 150 feet above them. It was a sinkhole, which probably did not exist at the time the invaders sealed off these tunnels. The top of the crevice was small, with the walls no more than three feet apart. Even so, this sinkhole may now offer their only chance of ever getting back to the surface again. They only had to find a way to reach it. “That opening doesn’t look very large,” Erik observed. “Do you think we can all squeeze through it?” It was clear he was referring specifically to Oktha. “I can’t fly up there,” Shelagh pointed out, “the crevice gets too narrow too quickly. It’s probably no more than three feet wide up there.” “I can fly up there and take a look,’” Glenna
I wrote a song "Good-bye, so long". You're old, I know still feel sorrow seeing your hair as white as clouds, while you lay there: a smile, no doubts. I promise to not cry when you will leave behind this world and find that peace of mind. A special kind of grandma who has taught me to love and cherish. Then she perished. Now engraved in eternal bloom, your favorite flower adorns your urn. 04.11.23
